Courtney Quinn, Ph.D.

Courtney holds a Ph.D. in Leadership Studies and a Masters in the Human Dimensions of Natural Resources. She has over a decade of experience facilitating leadership skills workshops for corporate, academic, and non-profits.  Courtney is the Program Director of the Sustainability Leadership Initiative where she works with leaders at the intersection of commerce and conservation through SustainSC including; The Nature Conservancy, Audubon, BMW, Dominion Energy, the SC Department of Commerce, and the Port Authority. She teaches undergraduate and graduate classes in Sustainability and Environmental Leadership at Furman University and the University of Nebraska.

John Quinn, Ph.D

John holds a Ph.D. in Natural Resources and is an Associate Professor of Biology at Furman University.  He is trained as an ecologist, but also interested in how ecology fits into a broader perspective. He has over 15 years of experience in the sustainable management of diverse landscape types, with a particular focus on agricultural ecosystems. He has consulted with non-profits, government agencies, and large corporations, providing clients with unique data-driven solutions to complex land management choices. He uses state-of-the-art quantitative tools and techniques for developing insights in the sustainability of environmental resources. He teaches classes in statistics and conservation at Furman University
